1. What Ascenda is

Ascenda is a coordination and tracking platform connecting companies, universities, students, and agents around CSR scholarship funding. Ascenda is not a payment processor, bank, or money transmitter, and does not move funds between accounts. Any transfer of money implied by a funding or scholarship record on the platform happens outside Ascenda, through the parties' own arrangements.

2. Accounts and roles

Each account is assigned one role — Company, University, Student, or Agent — with permissions specific to that role. Company and University accounts are subject to admin verification before they can open funding programs or apply for funds. You're responsible for the accuracy of the information you submit and for keeping your login credentials confidential.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to misrepresent your organization, submit fraudulent applications, or use the platform to onboard or represent students without their knowledge or consent (applicable to Agent accounts). Administrators may suspend or deactivate accounts that violate these terms.

4. No guarantee of funding or approval

Listing a funding program or scholarship, or submitting an application, does not guarantee approval. Approval decisions are made solely by the reviewing company or university.

5. Changes to the service

We may update, add to, or remove features of the platform over time. Material changes to these terms will be communicated before they take effect.
